Junior High Programs

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Being sensitive to our young people’s spiritual, social and physical growth
is part of our holistic approach in ministering to youth.

Volunteers

Each year, with the help of many volunteers who answer the Lord’s Call to step forward to share Faith, our ministry to children, teens and youth continues to grow.

As you read about these ministries, please listen within your heart to where the Lord may be calling you to share your gifts and talents.

Junior High Teens (Grades 6-8 Religious Education)

Our parish teens in grades 6, 7 and 8 who attend public school have regular scheduled Faith Sharing Sessions in homes and at the Parish.

These gatherings are on Tuesday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm.

Large and small group experiences as well as community building activities help them develop their social skills in a gospel centered environment and grow in an understanding of who they are as Catholic Teens.

Families register their teens to participate in these sessions.

Jr. High and High School Activities

In addition to the small and large group sessions there are many other year-round activities:  retreats, service projects, fundraisers, outings, etc. for both our Junior High teens, our High School youth and their families.

Families sign up for these events.

Altar Servers

Training to serve at the altar begins in 4th grade. This privilege includes serving at regular Sunday and weekday Masses as well as special occasions. Our group includes both boys and girls in Elementary School, Jr. High and High School.

Call the Parish office: 443- 1412 if your child or young person would like to join this special ministry.
