YOUTH PROGRAMS

Being sensitive to our young people’s spiritual, social and physical growth
is part of our holistic approach in ministering to youth.

Volunteers

Each year, with the help of many volunteers who answer the Lord’s Call to step forward to share Faith, our ministry to children, teens and youth continues to grow.

As you read about these ministries, please listen within your heart to where the Lord may be calling you to share your gifts and talents.

High School Youth (Grades 9-12 Religious Education)

Our young people in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 also meet in small faith sharing groups in homes of adult leaders and at the parish.

These gatherings are on Tuesday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm.

Our High School program is aimed toward helping our youth in building friendships, serving others, developing personal talents, and ongoing Faith Formation and spiritual growth.

Families register their youth to participate in these groups.

Jr. High and High School Activities

In addition to the small and large group sessions there are many other year-round activities:  retreats, service projects, fundraisers, outings, etc. for both our Junior High teens, our High School youth and their families.

Families sign up for these events.

Altar Servers

Training to serve at the altar begins in 4th grade. This privilege includes serving at regular Sunday and weekday Masses as well as special occasions. Our group includes both boys and girls in Elementary School, Jr. High and High School.

Call the Parish office: 443- 1412 if your child or young person would like to join this special ministry.
